Building Community for Over 50 Years

The name of this organization as incorporated under the laws of the State of Michigan, June 19, 1950, is Lake Orion Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and upon ratification of the By Laws, shall henceforth be known as the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce.

Goals

The Orion Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Greater Orion Area so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper and the social, economic and environmental welfare of the general community enhanced. It will seek to provide appropriate assistance and support for an orderly and sustained growth of the social needs of civic, commercial, cultural, industrial and educational interest of the community.

Chamber Affiliations

The Orion Area Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Southeast Michigan Chamber Alliance. The alliance was formed to increase legislative advocacy programs on issues of importance to Metropolitan Detroit businesses and share programs and cost-saving products of the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce and chambers of commerce throughout the region.
The Oakland Chamber Network, made up of 21 Chambers of Commerce in Oakland County. Dedicated to helping the business through networking, legislative awareness, and education.
